“Healing grows through connection. Together, we uncover your strength, honour your story, and move toward the life you deserve.”.

Finding the Help You Deserve
My ideal clients are individuals seeking compassionate, evidence-informed support while navigating the impacts of trauma, chronic stress, personal identity struggles, or major life transitions. Many are caregivers, first responders, military or public safety personnel, students, or community members who have carried difficult responsibilities for others while silencing their own needs. They may feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, even as they remain deeply committed to their values and relationships. Others come seeking healing from relational wounds, moral injury, or abusive dynamics that continue to influence their emotional world. Their goals often involve rebuilding trust in themselves and others, strengthening emotional and nervous system regulation, and exploring more fulfilling ways of living. Some are also hoping to reconnect with meaning, nature, or animals as part of their healing. Clients frequently express a desire to feel understood by someone who recognizes the complexities of trauma exposure, occupational stress, or chronic pain—and who honours the strengths that enabled their survival. With a background in counselling psychology, trauma-specific training, and over seventeen years of service within public safety environments, I offer an approach grounded in empathy, narrative exploration, somatic awareness, polyvagal-informed practice, and animal-assisted interventions. My role is to walk alongside clients—supporting insight, encouraging self-compassion, strengthening adaptive coping, and co-creating space where new stories and possibilities can emerge. I invite connection by fostering a therapeutic environment centred on safety, dignity, and collaboration—helping each client feel seen and supported as they move toward a life aligned with their values, capabilities, and hopes.
