Finding the Help You Deserve
I aim to approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and respect for each client’s unique story. Grounded in mindfulness and evidence-based care, my goal is to support clients in building emotional stability, stronger relationships, and a more meaningful life. I use an integrative, client-centred approach, drawing on techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I’ve gained experience through research at York University, assessing borderline personality disorder, and in private practice, conducting comprehensive assessments. I’ve also trained in workshops on emotion dysregulation and depression. My research explores how mindfulness supports emotional stability and well-being.
