Finding the Help You Deserve
I have spent over 15 years working with children and youth, as well as their parents, in various roles as a camp counsellor, teacher, and therapist. I have counselled families, couples and individuals through many difficulties, including grief, suicide, burnout, family breakdowns, anxiety, academic problems, depression, sleep, and digital addiction/technology addiction. I take a holistic therapeutic approach to overall well-being, encompassing the body, mind, and social supports. I help clients rediscover their identities, explore their desires, and discover new perspectives. I like to encourage my clients to find their unique way forward, one step at a time. I use a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Integrated Family Systems (IFS), and Video Game-Assisted Therapy (VGAT). In addition, I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) to help individuals improve their sleep, digital addiction therapy, and specialized treatment supporting educators/teachers. I work in person as an associate with Patricia Berendsen and Associates in London, and online through Sentinel Psychotherapy. I draw from multiple modalities to create a therapeutic approach tailored to you, and I am happy to provide a brief 15-minute phone/online consultation.
